Description An account of the resource On May 28, 1946. the Lincoln Star Journal reported that Albert Simms was in a car train collision at 19th and R street. He was struck on the passenger side of his car, by a southbound local passenger train. There are no details of his injuries. The train had probably just left the station on 10th street and according to the train engineer, was traveling at about 20 miles an hour.
